This project was a campaign created to bring awareness to Crohn’s disease and colitis and to help encourage confidence in those who suffer from it. I chose this subject specifically because my dad has Crohn’s disease and I have seen first-hand how it affects his confidence. It’s also frustrating when people don’t understand how these types of diseases affect the body and it’s taken more as a joke than the serious matter it is.
For this project, our only stipulations were to have an extensive social media campaign and at least four other collateral pieces. For the social media component, I chose to create campaigns for Facebook and Instagram, and a series of videos for Tik Tok. The rest of my collateral was made up of posters, zines, and takeaway items.
