Coyote Canyon
The brief for this project was to take an old assignment and expand it into a collateral campaign and website. I started with just a logo from my sophomore year and made minor changes to it so that it would scale better on small pieces. When thinking about the types of collateral I would need for a national park, billboards and flyers came to mind easily. I also knew I wanted to create posters for my national park. However, other collateral took more brainstorming.
I thought about the types of people that would be coming to this park and the ways I could reach that audience. So, I decided on several social media ads, a sweatshirt, a bag, a plushy tag, a map, and a postcard for the rest of my collateral, along with the website. The website took the longest for me to make and was actually a separate project in itself. This was only the second time I had worked with Dreamweaver, so it took me some time to navigate the software and find open-source codes to customize.
